| From the car park walk the entrance path over the footbridge spanning afon Stewi and walk on along the track through the woods following the gently ascending track keeping to the right of the seat adjoining the track. About 200 yards after the seat look for a path going upwards on the right of the the track. |

| Follow this path upwards for just over 100 yards to where the path crosses a track. |

| Follow the level path across the track, passing a seat on the way, until after 350 yards you are close to the woodland boundary. |

| Within some yards of the woodland boundary look for a path on your right which ascends roughly parallel to the woodland boundary. Follow it upwards for about 100 yards and then turn right along a level path until after 150 yards you arrive at a path going downwards. |

| Turn right to follow the downward path, for 300 yards, all the way to the bottom of the woodland, crossing your outward route at the chair you previously passed. At the bottom turn left to walk the few yards to a track junction near a large stone. Go across the track to follow the track just left of the s tone which is more or less opposite you. |

| Having crossed to the opposite track walk along it for about 750 yards (do not be attracted by any path going right) until you are about 30 yards short of the river ahead (Afon Stewi). |

| Thirty yards short of the river look for a narrow footpath on your left. Follow the footpath the short distance, 150 yards or so, until it meets what was your outward track. Turn right to go back over the footbridge arriving back to the car park after 150 yards. |
